TUNABLE FOR STAGE DECIMATING PERFORMANCE
Richie Rude wins running the same suspension design that comes stock on the SB150. No team only linkage or mods to his Switch Infinity. As personal performance elevates, racers are able to tune the SB150 to carry more and more speed – right up to the top of the box.
DURABLE
The Switch Infinity is a simple lightweight, bombproof system built by Fox Racing from proven suspension components engineered and tested to withstand the worst riding conditions. We only use the best components in its construction — Kashima coated stanchions for low friction and durability, seals and bushings that are used in Fox's off-road racing division, and a lightweight forged translating pivot.
C/SERIES
By making small changes in the carbon fiber layup our TURQ Series bikes, we are able to create a more aggressively priced carbon high-performance mountain bike. C-Series frames maintain the strength and stiffness of the TURQ Series. The carbon fiber in C-Series weighs a bit more, about 200g per frame (1/2 pound). Every bike model is offered in at least one C-Series option with high-end components.
FEATURES
WISHBONE SHOCK EXTENDER
Our patent pending wishbone shock extender changes leverage ratio, maintains kinematics and maximizes stand over clearance. For racers, the shock can be removed from the frame under two minutes to change a shock tune or perform a race day service.
CUSTOM SHOCK TUNE
Each Yeti model has a custom shock tune that is developed in house. Each tune is specifically designed to work in conjunction with the leverage ratio and anti-squat performance properties the engineering team builds with each frame. The performance characteristics of the SB150 are built using qualitative data from our athletes, and quantitative data recorded from telemetry devices which allow us to derive a tune that both enhances mid-stroke and bottom-out control while maintaining its pedaling efficiency.
AN INFLECTION POINT FOR SPEED.
We took Switch Infinity’s winning heritage and made the leverage ratio more progressive (but not too progressive) to provide greater compatibility with modern shocks and a wider range of racer setups. In addition, the bike has better small bump compliance, ramps up quicker in the mid-stroke, while still allowing for full travel and bottom-out control. Racers spend more time in the supportive part of the curve – when entering toothy sections or carrying corner speed, the SB150 offers something to push against for greater race stage velocities.
